Kaitlyn joined The Law Office of Tiffany M. Hughes in 2021 as an Associate Attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Kaitlyn was an Associate Attorney at a Family Law Firm, where she represented clients in amicable and high-conflict parentage and divorce cases. During law school, using her 711 law license, Kaitlyn participated in the Family Advocacy Clinic at University of Illinois College of Law. During her work at the Family Advocacy Clinic, Kaitlyn represented parents, advocated for the best interests of the minor children as a guardian ad litem in parentage actions, and served as a guardian ad litem in several juvenile abuse and neglect cases in Champaign County.

Kaitlyn graduated with her Juris Doctorate from University of Illinois College of Law. She is also a graduate of Indiana University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology.

Kaitlyn is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. Kaitlyn is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. Since 2020, Kaitlyn has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Child Law Section Council.
